Introduction
The decision base defines the data set of your model and leverages the sources you connected previously (to learn more about sources, click here).
Bases can join data from multiple objects within a single data sources (e.g. join the Contact and Opportunities objects in SFDC) and join data from multiple sources (e.g. data from SFDC and data from Marketo).
Once the base definition is set, the system will sync the data from the relevant sources and take a snapshot of the current data. This is the data that will be used to build your predictive model.
You can create different bases for different models or use the same base for multiple models.
Build a new decision base
Go to 'Bases' and click on 'New'
Name your base and select the data source for your first object
You'll now see all the objects that are available in this data source, choose an object you like to use in this base and click 'Done'
Select the fields you would like to include in your base
To add an additional data object click on 'Add Object'
You can choose an object from the suggested list or click on 'Skip' to search manually
Now both objects are available
Next you should join both objects together, use your mouse to connect relevant objects
Select the relevant keys in each object to set the connections between the objects
Both objects are now connected
Repeat steps 5-10 if you wish to add additional objects.
Once you've selected and connected all relevant objects click on 'Save & Sync' to save your base. When the sync is completed you can review the data that was extracted for your base
