Introduction
Forwrd syncs data from your enterprise applications. As a default, we’re working in SaaS mode, which stores the data within Forwrd’s S3 instance in a dedicated folder for each customer.
You can set Forwrd to work in an hybrid cloud approach and use your own S3 instance.
What you need to get started:
A Forwrd.ai account
Create a dedicated S3 bucket for Forwrd usage - for additional information read this
S3 authentication - we support 2 options for the authentication to S3:
Access key
AWS Access Key ID (This should be a severely restricted key that only has access to the specified resources you want to use)
AWS Secret Access Key
Bucket Name (Note, Bucket Name is CASE SENSITIVE)
IAM role
AWS IAM Role (Add 943029824782 to your Trusted entities under Trusted relationships in your AWS account)
Bucket Name (Note, Bucket Name is CASE SENSITIVE)
Setting up the integration
Go to your Forwrd account 'Settings'
Under 'Data Collection' change the storage type to AWS S3
Enter the relevant information based on the desired authentication method
*Note that for IAN Role you should add 943029824782 to your Trusted entitles under Trusted relationships in your AWS account
